A totally unique, intimate look at the social life of these remarkable mountain animals. The culmination of seven years of effort by New Zealand Wildlife Trust biologist Ken Tustin and wildlife filmmaker Steve Couper.
Initially the filming Ken did was purely as a reference to refer to later so he could write accurately about Tahr. Steve then joined him to do some more specialized filming for this animal documentary and as more wonderful behaviour was revealed and a better understanding of the animals unfolded, the idea of a documentary video was born.
